Deep and brilliant red in colour, this Sangiovese has lifted strawberry and blackcurrant aromas with hints of violet petal. These aromas persist on the palate, with spice and earthy characters being supported by richand velvety tannins.
We harvested these grapes late in the season to ensure soft and elegant tannins, and cold-soaked the ferment to provide an enhanced fleshy texture and palate weight.
Made to sit between the highly tannic Italian styles and sweet raspberry bombs seen in some domestic examples, this wine hasa bit of everything to keep the serious Sangiovese fans happy.
