Colour Purple / Violet
Aroma Up front raspberry jube, violets, cola and evolving blackcurrants along with herbs and spices including
fennel, anise and cinnamon. A very complex nose.
Palate The Merlot is quite a visible contributor in the 2007 blend with satsuma plum, spicy cola and kirsh. Blueberry fruit adds to the fresh fruit mix while the wine has an agreeable creamy chocolate finish. A seriously ageworthy wine.
