Function HireThe former Hindmarsh Brewery function roomsThe renovated Hindmarsh Brewery Function Rooms provides a historic, intimate and convenient ambience for your next corporate function, fundraiser or meeting. Both rooms cater comfortably for up to 30 guests (seated) or to 100 (standing). Located conveniently at 15 Richard Street Hindmarsh (see us on the map at right), it represents a step back in time, though one lovingly and tastefully modernised to suit contemporary needs. The former Brewery building now serves as the headquarters for wine distributor Options Wine Merchants as well as hosting the Hindmarsh Brewery Function Room.
The Brewery was established in 1859 by well-known brewer Mr. E.J.F. Crawford before being taken over and operated by Messrs Haussen and Catchlove, when it became known as Haussen & Co Hindmarsh Brewery. It was one of the oldest breweries in Australia, and produced quality beers until 1927. The building features a network of tunnels that used to run in many directions from the central cellar. The spacious yet intimate meeting room provides the tools you need to run a successful function, featuring a large LCD AV screens with inputs for a laptop computer and external speakers, an electronic whiteboard, tea and coffee and crockery. The room setup is flexible to accommodate your specific requirements.
Ample off-street parking is available to improve access and peace of mind. We can also recommend quality, reliable caterers to delight the appetite of your guests. And, very uniquely, each event receives the option of a complimentary theme-based wine tasting from the excellent wine range offered by Options Wines and O2 Wines. What a great way to end a successful function or meeting, allowing your guests to unwind, network, and simply enjoy life experiencing quality wines. The Hindmarsh Brewery Function Room is available for $275 for a full day hire (inc. GST). Prices for shorter and longer hires may be negotiated.
