The start of Riposte - Tim Knappstein's very own wine brand - marks a new chapter in Tim's life with wine, combining his rich knowledge accumulated from a decorated 40 years of winemaking, and his boundless enthusiasm to keep making better, more delicious wines.

 The new label's name - Riposte - suggests all this.  It's Tim's sharp reply to people who keep confusing his surname with a brand that doesn't involve his wines; in short, the new label signifies Tim's comeback. It's also his forward thrust at a time when the Australian wine industry is at odds with its future direction; times are tougher, but Tim has an unshakeable positive belief in the power of great wines made with oustanding fruit.
