 Notes Chateau Montfaucon Cotes du Rhone AOC 2009

The Cotes du Rh¶ne is a classic of Montfaucon. The focus is to express with finesse and elegance the intense fruit characteristics that C¶tes du Rh¶ne terroir can offer.

The wine is a blend of typical Rh¶ne grape varieties Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault and Carignan. It has been fermented and aged in concrete tanks only, without any influence from oak barrels. At tasting, the wine reveals beautiful red fruit aromas: cherries, blackcurrant, and raspberries with violets and spices. You can feel the importance of the blend in the freshness, roundness and purity of this wine, which also makes it easy to access, a true pleasure to enjoy with a variety of red and white meat dishes and even barbecue.
