The legend of ‘Howling Wolves’ is steeped in a philosophy of producing only premium quality wines, at truly outstanding value, at our state-of-the-art winery in the Margaret River region of Western Australia. How do we do it? Well, first we pick only the world renowned, intense flavoured fruit from selected, Margaret River and adjacent premium South West appellation vineyards (no cheaper ‘ring-ins’ from elsewhere in WA or over East!).
Then we draw on the exceptional winemaking skills and resources of one of Western Australia’s finest, contemporary wineries, vintnering a range of wines of premium quality ~ always varietally correct, full of outstanding fruit, soft, approachable and ready to pull the cork and enjoy now (or, if you’ve really got the willpower - lay down for 3-5 years). Howling Wolves wines are vinted exclusively amongst the vineyards and glorious, soft rolling hills of Willyabrup, Cowaramup, in the premium Western Australian wine region of Margaret River ~ some 300 kilometers south of the capital, Perth. (And if you think that’s a mouthful wait until you experience the fabulous fruit driven flavour!) The winery is located on 17 picturesque hectares and employs world leading, state-of-the-art technology alongside time-honoured and traditional winemaking skills.
Willyabrup, in the Margaret River region has developed a growing reputation around the world for producing outstanding, award winning wines of exquisite fruit driven complexity and quality. In fact, although Margaret River produces only 3.5% of Australia’s wine, the region accounts for over 25% of ‘Premium’ wine production (speaks for itself really).
