PALATE That complexity and depth of flavour builds further in the mouth there is a softness and sophistication to this release that belies the ripeness of the fruit. You can see the impact of allowing the grapes to reach full flavour on the vine in the depth and weight of this release and layering of savoury notes with richer dark fruits. Benefiting from mild conditions there is a balancing element of natural acid showing as candied cumquat with side notes of tobacco, fresh raisins and a gentle earthy finish.
