Pale straw in colour, classic Pinot Gris aromas of florals and fresh pear with hints of grapefruit. Pear and floral flavours follow through on the palate, given the lower alcohol, the time on lees in oak and tank has given excellent weight and texture, not easily achieved at this lower alcohol. The very cool 2023 season has given wonderful natural acidity, which has given the wine a crisp finish with hints of pith adding a salivating finish and excellent persistence.
