LATEST GEOFF MERRILL REVIEWS FROM RAY JORDAN

2012 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon - 94 points

“The lifted varietal, leafy, blackcurrant notes of Coonawarra are evident from the first engagement on the nose.

The palate is silky smooth. It’s had 34 months in French and American oak hogsheads, yet the fruit emerges the better for it. Power and style.”

2012 Reserve Shiraz - 94 points

“The reserve is a result of selecting the best barrels and then giving them another whack of oak.

The rich succulence of McLaren Vale is evident, and the oak helps build structure and intensity on the palate. Will handle some cellaring.”

2013 Bush Vine Shiraz Grenache Mourvèdre - 92 points

“Extra time in bottle has added another dimension into this fleshy, opulent blend. Lush chocolate and spicy, savoury plum, with a lick of cedary oak.

Dense mid palate and a long finish. Pop a bottle or two in the cellar to see how it ages.”
